Motivated Science tutor with experience of  both online and offline tutoring to GCSE & A-level Biology and Chemistry. Recently, I graduated in MSc Cancer Biology with Distinction from Kingston University, London . Meanwhile, I was tutoring at an academy in Croydon. I taught general science and maths to students from KS1 to KS3, and GCSE and A-level biology and Chemistry. Dedicated to fostering a passion for the sciences, I strive to motivate my students in their learning journey. Through personalized tutoring, I create a supportive and creative environment where students can explore the wonders of biology and chemistry. By utilizing effective teaching techniques and adapting to individual learning styles, I help students grasp complex concepts with ease. My goal is to instill confidence, encourage exploration, and unlock their full academic potential. I am a patient tutor with an informal approach to lessons that I adapt to the individual need of each student. I am passionate about discussion in the subjects I teach to build confidence in my students, but similarly enjoy the process of trading ideas that helps to provide a fresh perspective to my own academic work! I encourage engagement in my lessons and wish to provide a space where students feel comfortable to ask questions or say they are unsure. Through continual praise and encouragement, I am well suited to be able to help students that are anxious or cannot grasp areas of their subjects. I provide a plan of action for going forward and keep parents consulted on their child’s progress. I am also happy to set homework questions to build upon the skills covered in the lessons and will mark and give feedback on any work completed.
