Enthusiastic mathematics tutor I am a professional tutor and qualified teacher offering one-to-one online mathematics lessons for students looking to improve their maths exam performance and to perfect their skills.

I have extensive experience teaching maths to students all ages, having strong knowledge and experience with the material taught. I have scored 100% in my mathematics exam (Baccalaureate) as well as received numerous prizes in Romanian Olympiads.

My teaching style is based on the student’s needs and current knowledge of the subject. I help students understand mathematics in more depth, allowing them more freedom to solve problems in the way that works best for them.

I believe practice is essential to the understanding of the studied topics and it is key to getting the best score. I believe in challenging students and helping them grow. I also believe that for the student to progress, they need to be proactive, put in the work and be active during the lessons.

I offer a trial lessons if you want to see how teach but changeable. Bookings are made 48h prior to the lesson. The timetable available is relative and subject to change. That means I can have lessons at times that suit you best, even if they do not show up on the timetable.

Additionally, lessons are customised to every student, which means we can have lessons that last 1 hour or 1.5 hours or 2 hours, depending on the student’s ability to focus and other various factors.

Allow me to thank Sue Schulkins for the wonderful work she has done with our son’s English classes. We have seen our son’s interest grow as the sessions have progressed. Before Sue started out with him - I noticed she gathered as much information as she could and she listened to us and even adopted some of our methods. She improved on them and added her own unique creativity. She was very unlike some teachers who would insist on using their own method - she never did that. She was able to find out from our son his expectations and discovered he loves unusually funny narratives. She incorporated this into her curriculum and we have seen such a marked improvement in his English comprehension. He is having fun during the English sessions and his work has improved. He is attentive and focused. Sue Schulkins is certainly a different kind of teacher and we are very happy with her work. Well done Sue.
