I am a fully qualified Science teacher with Physics specialism. I can teach all three Sciences up to GCSEs and Physics up to A-levels. I am available to teach online via Teams, Zoom & Google meet and have ample experience online to pupils of varying abilities and backgrounds.

I studied at the University of York for my undergraduate degree in Physics and then went on to pursue my PGCE at the same University I am currently teaching at at a school in North Wales. I teach classes across the age and ability spectrum from year 7 up to year 13.

I have taught for WJEC and AQA exam boards. Therefore, you can be rest assured that I have received high quality training on how to deliver content to ensure success for pupils from all levels.

My teaching style is centred around student questioning, probing and encouraging pupils to be analytical in their thinking as well as feel safe to ask any question that might arise in their minds. I feel learning must be personalised to every child’s needs and tutoring is an excellent opportunity for this.

I am happy to help any student studying for their GCSEs in any of the separate sciences. I have many years of personal tutoring experience in various settings. I am confident that you will find my classes a valuable learning opportunity and I will strive to ensure your needs are met.

My Daughter was Tutored by Aisha (Science Tutor), whose been amazing. Initially she had little or no confidence in her ability to achieve GCSE level and had lost interest in the subjects. Aisha took her on and her teaching style was perfect in building up my daughter's confidence, so much so she went from Grade 3 to achieving Grade 8 in all 3 Science subjects. Aisha was patient, compassionate, flexible in adapting her teaching style and pace to suit my daughter's needs. Allow me to thank Sue Schulkins for the wonderful work she has done with our son’s English classes. We have seen our son’s interest grow as the sessions have progressed. Before Sue started out with him - I noticed she gathered as much information as she could and she listened to us and even adopted some of our methods. She improved on them and added her own unique creativity. She was very unlike some teachers who would insist on using their own method - she never did that. She was able to find out from our son his expectations and discovered he loves unusually funny narratives. She incorporated this into her curriculum and we have seen such a marked improvement in his English comprehension. He is having fun during the English sessions and his work has improved. He is attentive and focused. Sue Schulkins is certainly a different kind of teacher and we are very happy with her work. Well done Sue.

My son worked with Katie Jackson for his GCSE Combined Science ( Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) and it made a real difference. The lessons were engaging and helped him get much more confident with tricky topics and exam-style questions.
