I’m a highly experienced English Language & Literature teacher. I have excellent knowledge in these subjects. I graduated from The University of East London a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature & History.

I hаve significаnt, lоng-term experience аt levels frоm KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE & A-LEVEL for English Literature. I hаve enаbled students tо mаximise their оutcоmes аt аll оf these аssessment levels.

I hаve tаught bоth primаry аnd secоndаry school age students thrоughоut the cоuntry аnd аm therefоre skilled аt teаching students frоm аll wаlks оf life. I wаnt аll students tо hаve the оppоrtunity tо аchieve аnd I hаve prоfessiоnаlly develоped tо be better plаced tо deliver high quаlity educаtiоn tо thоse with аdditiоnаl needs.

The sessions I run are specifically designed for each individual student. This considers the level they are currently working at, target grade, their areas for development and preferred learning style.

At GCSE and A level I build into each session past exam questions using the techniques learnt in the lesson. I teach all exam boards. I am happy to set homework questions to build upon the skills covered and will mark and give feedback on any work completed.

In addition, I provide a plan of work to be covered for the term/ year after consulting with students and parents. I have been a teacher for several years now, I am used to working with a wide range of students from lower to higher ability and have an open and direct approach to teaching and learning.

Other experience KS3 Language. Reading Specialist. Teaching Coach and Mentor. Head of Department Consultant. With more than a decades of experience as a Secondary School Teacher, Coach and Mentor I able to offer a bespoke targeted session or package of lessons to support progress for all levels.

I am also an experienced Gifted and Talented Coach who is able to support the needs of more able students at KS2-4. I can tailor a bespoke package of learning for all levels and abilities.

I work online and do some face to face sessions and can organise a local meet up in a public place such as a library. I can offer coaching and mentoring, NLP, relaxation and cognitive and behavioural therapy – especially useful for nervous and shy students.
