I am a fully qualified Primary School teacher with QTS, I have over 5 years of teaching experience and have a passion for helping children to develop confidence in all subject areas and make learning engaging and enjoyable.

I am available for evening, after school sessions and some weekends. I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Primary Education and a BA (Hons) in Graphic Arts and Design. I have taught students at all ages from 5 -12 in mainstream schools and have tutored KS1 & KS2.

I hаve а trаck recоrd оf success аnd delivering results thrоugh privаte tutоring аnd аt clаssrооm level. I hаve significаnt, lоng-term experience аt KS1 & KS2 levels. Every child deserves an opportunity to reach their maximum potential.

In addition to focusing on a child`s academic progress, I always look for opportunities to boost their confidence and self-esteem – as these are crucial for a holistic development. Difficult concepts are broken down in smaller ones through scaffolding using different techniques differentiated according to each child`s individual need.

It is important to push each child past their comfort zone, and I do exactly that with the students I tutor by challenging them in different ways. I tutor children across the primary phase, all the way from teaching how to read and write in English, to solving complex problems in Maths, to preparing them for their upcoming SATs exams.

I tailor my lessons to cater for each child’s individual needs. I have a gentle and friendly approach towards children and I always look for ways to help them make connections between the things they learn and for them to develop a love for learning.

I believe that every child is truly special and unique. I have successfully tutored children with specific learning needs and have lots of experience working with children with ADD and ADHD. I enjoy forming positive learning relationships with children and providing them with what they need in order to succeed.

I have a fun, bubbly and caring personality and am happy to be of help in any way that you need. I find it reаlly rewаrding tо see а student reаch their gоаls аnd tаke pride in inspiring аnd cоntributing tо their аchievements.

Aisha took her on and her teaching style was perfect in building up my daughter's confidence, so much so she went from Grade 3 to achieving Grade 8 in all 3 Science subjects. Allow me to thank Sue Schulkins for the wonderful work she has done with our son’s English classes. We have seen our son’s interest grow as the sessions have progressed. Before Sue started out with him - I noticed she gathered as much information as she could and she listened to us and even adopted some of our methods. She improved on them and added her own unique creativity. She was very unlike some teachers who would insist on using their own method - she never did that. She was able to find out from our son his expectations and discovered he loves unusually funny narratives. She incorporated this into her curriculum and we have seen such a marked improvement in his English comprehension. He is having fun during the English sessions and his work has improved. He is attentive and focused. Sue Schulkins is certainly a different kind of teacher and we are very happy with her work. Well done Sue.

My son worked with Katie Jackson for his GCSE Combined Science ( Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) and it made a real difference.
