I’m a highly experienced Economics & Business Studies tutor and I have excellent knowledge in these subjects. I’m a friendly, easy-going tutor with a proven track record of excellent results, built through strong relationships with my students.

I specialise in supporting learners who may be struggling with more challenging topics and help them gain confidence and clarity in their understanding. I currently teach: GCSE Business Studies A-Level Business Studies BTEC National Business GCSE Economics A-Level Economics IB - business and economics.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and ISPP from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Development economics from LSE. My lessons are focused on developing structured, well-argued responses to exam questions.

I pay particular attention to helping students strengthen their analytical skills, form convincing judgements, and master exam technique. My approach is patient, informal, and fully adaptable to each student’s needs. I’m passionate about using discussion to build understanding and confidence, and I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and express uncertainty.

For students who are anxious or struggling, I offer continual encouragement and praise. I also provide a clear plan of action and ensure parents are kept informed of progress. Additional support I offer includes: Setting homework tasks to reinforce learning Marking and giving detailed feedback on completed work Flexible online teaching via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet It’s incredibly rewarding to witness my students' progress at every stage of their learning journey.

My Daughter was Tutored by Aisha (Science Tutor), whose been amazing. Initially she had little or no confidence in her ability to achieve GCSE level and had lost interest in the subjects. Aisha took her on and her teaching style was perfect in building up my daughter's confidence, so much so she went from Grade 3 to achieving Grade 8 in all 3 Science subjects. Aisha was patient, compassionate, flexible in adapting her teaching style and pace to suit my daughter's needs. Allow me to thank Sue Schulkins for the wonderful work she has done with our son’s English classes. We have seen our son’s interest grow as the sessions have progressed. Before Sue started out with him - I noticed she gathered as much information as she could and she listened to us and even adopted some of our methods. She improved on them and added her own unique creativity. She was very unlike some teachers who would insist on using their own method - she never did that. She was able to find out from our son his expectations and discovered he loves unusually funny narratives. She incorporated this into her curriculum and we have seen such a marked improvement in his English comprehension. He is having fun during the English sessions and his work has improved. He is attentive and focused. Sue Schulkins is certainly a different kind of teacher and we are very happy with her work. Well done Sue.

My son worked with Katie Jackson for his GCSE Combined Science ( Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) and it made a real difference. The lessons were engaging and helped him get much more confident with tricky topics and exam-style questions.
