I am a private tutor specialising in A-level Physics and Mathematics, as well as GCSE Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. From 2012 to 2023, I have taught Physics and Mathematics at an International College at pre-university level (A-level). Currently, I teach A-level Physics (KS5) and Science at a comprehensive secondary school in West London.
As a tutor, I value building a trusting and supportive relationship with my students, based on honesty and transparency. With strong subject knowledge and a wide range of teaching experience, I am able to identify gaps in students’ understanding and skills, and adapt my teaching approach to help them achieve their full potential. I also encourage and motivate my students, showing them that Mathematics and Physics can be both fascinating and accessible.
I hold a degree in Applied Physics and Electronics and have over 23 years of experience teaching A-level Physics and Mathematics, consistently achieving excellent results. During this time, I have supported hundreds of students in improving their grades and gaining admission to leading universities, including Oxford and Cambridge. I am deeply passionate about teaching and enjoy working with students both in the classroom and online.
I always consider each student’s individual needs and learning background in order to make lessons meaningful and effective. For students preparing for examinations, I place particular emphasis on exam-style questions, effective time management, and strategic question selection.
In addition, I have experience working as a Physics Examiner for a couple of examination boards, which has given me valuable insight into assessment structures and marking schemes. This allows me to guide students on how to structure their answers effectively and maximise their marks.
I hold a PhD in Fingerprint Biometrics from the School of Engineering & Design at Brunel University.
Above all, I take great pride in helping students reach their full academic potential.
I hope you will consider me in your search for a personal tutor. I look forward to hearing from you and to the opportunity of helping your son or daughter achieve their goals.

Dr Azad Noor is a wonderful Physics teacher. He excellently helped my Son through his AS & A-level Physics exams. He used to get Ds in his mocks but he eventually got an A in his final exams. He can now go to the University of his choice. I cannot thank you more Dr Noor, you really made Physics very easy for my son. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a private Physics teacher for their child.
