I have several years of experience teaching Mathematics and Further Mathematics to students at secondary school, GCSE, and A-Level. Over the years, I have worked with multiple tuition centres as well as provided private one-to-one tutoring, allowing me to develop a deep understanding of different learning styles and how to adapt my approach to meet each student’s needs.

My teaching focuses on building a strong foundation in core mathematical concepts while developing problem-solving skills and exam techniques. I use clear explanations, structured examples, and targeted practice to help students gain confidence and excel in assessments.

I also make a point to connect mathematical ideas to real-world applications, helping students see the subject’s relevance and beauty. I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics and an A* in A-Level Mathematics, which has given me first-hand insight into what it takes to succeed at the highest level.

My approach is patient, supportive, and results-driven — I aim not only to improve my students’ grades but also to help them enjoy learning and think critically about mathematical problems. Through consistent progress tracking and regular feedback, I ensure that every student I teach makes tangible improvement and feels motivated to reach their full potential.

Aisha took her on and her teaching style was perfect in building up my daughter's confidence, so much so she went from Grade 3 to achieving Grade 8 in all 3 Science subjects. Allow me to thank Sue Schulkins for the wonderful work she has done with our son’s English classes. We have seen our son’s interest grow as the sessions have progressed. Before Sue started out with him - I noticed she gathered as much information as she could and she listened to us and even adopted some of our methods. She improved on them and added her own unique creativity. She was very unlike some teachers who would insist on using their own method - she never did that. She was able to find out from our son his expectations and discovered he loves unusually funny narratives. She incorporated this into her curriculum and we have seen such a marked improvement in his English comprehension. He is having fun during the English sessions and his work has improved. He is attentive and focused. Sue Schulkins is certainly a different kind of teacher and we are very happy with her work. Well done Sue.

My son worked with Katie Jackson for his GCSE Combined Science ( Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) and it made a real difference.
