Hi! My name is Chris, and thank you for taking the time to read my profile.  I am an experienced A-level Maths & Further Mathematics teacher who can also teach all three Sciences - Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with strong subject expertise and excellent exam knowledge. My teaching style is friendly, approachable, and student-centred, and I consistently achieve outstanding results by building positive, supportive relationships with my learners.

I have extensive long-term teaching experience across GCSE, A-Level, and University Foundation levels, and I have helped students maximise their outcomes at each stage. I am highly skilled in adapting my teaching to suit learners of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

My goal is for every student to have the opportunity to reach their full potential. I have continuously developed my professional practice to ensure I provide high-quality, personalised education—especially for students who need additional support. Every session I deliver is tailored to the individual, taking into account their current working level, target grade, areas for development, and preferred learning style.

At GCSE, A-Level, and University level, I integrate past exam questions into every lesson, allowing students to apply newly learned techniques and build strong exam confidence. I am familiar with all major exam boards, and I am happy to set homework to reinforce learning, as well as mark and provide detailed feedback on any completed work.

Aisha took her on and her teaching style was perfect in building up my daughter's confidence, so much so she went from Grade 3 to achieving Grade 8 in all 3 Science subjects. Allow me to thank Sue Schulkins for the wonderful work she has done with our son’s English classes. We have seen our son’s interest grow as the sessions have progressed. Before Sue started out with him - I noticed she gathered as much information as she could and she listened to us and even adopted some of our methods. She improved on them and added her own unique creativity. She was very unlike some teachers who would insist on using their own method - she never did that. She was able to find out from our son his expectations and discovered he loves unusually funny narratives. She incorporated this into her curriculum and we have seen such a marked improvement in his English comprehension. He is having fun during the English sessions and his work has improved. He is attentive and focused. Sue Schulkins is certainly a different kind of teacher and we are very happy with her work. Well done Sue.
