I’m a highly experienced maths teacher and have excellent subject knowledge. I’m friendly, easy going and get excellent results through building good relationships with my students.  I hаve а trаck recоrd оf success аnd delivering results thrоugh privаte tutоring аnd аt clаssrооm level.

I hаve significаnt, lоng-term experience аt levels frоm KS2, KS3 & GCSE &. I hаve enаbled students tо mаximise their оutcоmes аt аll оf these аssessment levels. I hаve tаught in bоth primаry аnd secоndаry schооls thrоughоut the cоuntry аnd аm therefоre skilled аt teаching students frоm аll wаlks оf life.

Anything looks easy when we enjoy it. As a teacher my job is to set a growth mindset towards the learning of the subject. I am passionate about mathematics and logic since I was in year 2. I have consistently scored highest grades in my Math exams all through my education.

I later earned a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and went on to a corporate job with multinationals. I have done quite a bit of charity education helping needy kids learning mathematics.

I have been tutoring Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal reasoning for 11+ for quite a few years now. I am tutoring secondary school year children (including GCSEs). I am also helping few home-schooled students.

I try to encourage participation into my lessons so that conversation is bidirectional. Children who are more comfortable with their tutor, normally progress faster.

I do like to strike a right balance by keeping the learning pressure on by providing assignments while also ensuring that child is having the right interest level.

Allow me to thank Sue Schulkins for the wonderful work she has done with our son’s English classes. We have seen our son’s interest grow as the sessions have progressed. Before Sue started out with him - I noticed she gathered as much information as she could and she listened to us and even adopted some of our methods. She improved on them and added her own unique creativity. She was very unlike some teachers who would insist on using their own method - she never did that. She was able to find out from our son his expectations and discovered he loves unusually funny narratives. She incorporated this into her curriculum and we have seen such a marked improvement in his English comprehension. He is having fun during the English sessions and his work has improved. He is attentive and focused. Sue Schulkins is certainly a different kind of teacher and we are very happy with her work. Well done Sue.
