I’m a highly experienced maths teacher/ tutor and have excellent subject knowledge. I’m friendly, easy going and get excellent results through building good relationships with my students.

I hаve а trаck recоrd оf success аnd delivering results thrоugh privаte tutоring and i hаve significаnt, lоng-term experience аt levels frоm KS2, KS3 & GCSE. I hаve enаbled students tо mаximise their оutcоmes аt аll оf these аssessment levels.

I studied Electronic and Electrical Engineering Degree with very high Mathematics content at Queen Mary University of London and graduating with a First Class honours degree. I am currently undertaking a Technology Graduate Scheme at a National Telecoms and Engineering Company.

I am happy to help any student studying Mathematics at  KS1, KS2, KS3 &  GCSE Level. I am confident that you will find my classes a valuable learning opportunity and I will strive to ensure your needs are met.

I am particularly adept at helping students with their analytical skills, enabling them to showcase convincing judgements to examiners as well as perfecting their exam structure.

I encourage engagement in my lessons and wish to provide a space where students feel comfortable to ask questions or say they are unsure. Through continual praise and encouragement, I am well suited to be able to help students that are anxious or cannot grasp areas of their subjects.

The ability to experience each student’s progress at every stage is incredibly rewarding and a wonderful part of my role as a tutor.

My Daughter was Tutored by Aisha (Science Tutor), whose been amazing. Initially she had little or no confidence in her ability to achieve GCSE level and had lost interest in the subjects. Aisha took her on and her teaching style was perfect in building up my daughter's confidence, so much so she went from Grade 3 to achieving Grade 8 in all 3 Science subjects. Aisha was patient, compassionate, flexible in adapting her teaching style and pace to suit my daughter's needs. She's very skilled in breaking down the subjects to student level so they can grasp the concepts whilst maintaining their interests. Allow me to thank Sue Schulkins for the wonderful work she has done with our son’s English classes. We have seen our son’s interest grow as the sessions have progressed. Before Sue started out with him - I noticed she gathered as much information as she could and she listened to us and even adopted some of our methods. She improved on them and added her own unique creativity. She was very unlike some teachers who would insist on using their own method - she never did that. She was able to find out from our son his expectations and discovered he loves unusually funny narratives. She incorporated this into her curriculum and we have seen such a marked improvement in his English comprehension. He is having fun during the English sessions and his work has improved. He is attentive and focused. Sue Schulkins is certainly a different kind of teacher and we are very happy with her work. Well done Sue.

My son worked with Katie Jackson for his GCSE Combined Science ( Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) and it made a real difference. The lessons were engaging and helped him get much more confident with tricky topics and exam-style questions.
