I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with QTS. I am very experienced with a wealth of knowledge behind me. I hold a bachelor’s degree in English and Post graduate teaching qualification.
I also have modules towards an M.Ed. I have coached and mentored Student teachers and new teachers to the profession. I have taught students at all ages from 5-12 in mainstream schools for over 20 years and have tutored KS1, KS2, KS3 and extensively with some to GCSE.
Supporting students reach their potential is something I find thoroughly rewarding. I’m able to teach all core and foundation subjects in KS1 and KS2. My particular areas of strength are in English, Reading, Writing, Maths, Geography, Phonics and History.
I am trained in Read Write Inc., the UK phonics programme widely used in schools and have experience teaching Gifted and talented children and well as those with SEN as well as students who have English as a second language.
I have experience working with children who have learning disabilities, autism, ADHD and other barriers to learning. I also have taught and tutored those who just need that little extra support 1 to 1 in order to grow in confidence, achieve and excel.
I was born and raised in Yorkshire where I currently reside, yet I have supported students all over the UK and internationally through online tutoring. Some of my work has included supporting students achieve grades required to attend certain schools both nationally and internationally.
I tailor resources to each student’s needs. My teaching style is a supportive one where students are motivated to attempt learning tasks and become confident enough to tackle challenging ones.
I strive to inspire in children a growth mindset where they aim to be the best that they can be as this will help them in the long term. I enjoy forming positive learning relationships with students and providing them with what they need in order to succeed.
I speak three South Asian languages and have supported adult learners with their conversational and functional English. I have a caring, supportive personality and am happy to be of help in any way that you need.

I am a fully qualified Science teacher with more than 25 years’ experience of teaching all areas of Science (Chemistry, Physics and Biology) at Key Stage 3 and 4. I also have a huge experience of online tutoring, which has now become the most common practice.
I have a great passion for teaching and helping young people to unlock every potential in them, which I find quite rewarding. Being a passionate, enthusiastic, and a patient teacher has helped me over the years to reach out and create rapport with my students I am deeply aware that students have different abilities, therefore, differentiation is always at the forefront when I plan my lessons.
My goal is always to create fascinating lessons and resources that capture the interest of my students. I have excellent subject knowledge and my vast teaching experience has given me an immense understanding of the Science curriculum.
Having been an examiner for AQA and Edexcel for the past ten years has been invaluable in my development. Consequently, this experience has gone a long way in developing not only my subject knowledge, but also offered me an opportunity of gaining a clear understanding of the assessment objectives.

I am a qualified teacher of English to GCSE level and Drama to GCSE and A Level. I have qualified teacher status (QTS) I went to Bloxham School then went on to get an acting diploma from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.
Upon completing this diploma, I was a professional stage actor for seven years until did a PGCE to become a qualified teacher with QTS. I have 22 years teaching experience in schools and being a Head of Drama.
I have taught students on numerous exam boards including AQA, Edexcel and OCR. I am happy to help any student studying for their GCSEs in English Literature, English Language, 11+English or GCSE and A Level Drama.
I have many successes in teaching with the majority of my students receiving grades 8/9 at GCSE English and Drama and A*-B grades for A Level Drama.
In recent years my A-level Drama students have gone onto successful acting careers.

At GCSE & A-level, I build into each session past exam questions, including problem solving questions using the techniques learnt in the lesson. I am happy to set homework questions to build upon the skills covered and will mark and give feedback on any work completed.
In addition, I provide a plan of work to be covered for the term/ year after consulting with students and parents. I have been a maths & Science teacher for a few years now.
I keep up to date on all the recent changes in GCSE Maths & Science both at GCSE & A-level. Due to lockdowns in the past 2 years, I have had the opportunity to develop my online teaching at KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-level with positive feedback from my students and their parents.
I can use a variety of learning platforms through which to teach the lesson, making the most of technology to model any of the topics being studied.

I am a secondary Science Teacher that specialises in teaching Biology and I am based in Suffolk. I teach at a high school where I cover the KS3 and GCSE Science curriculum (Combined (in all three Sciences) and Triple Biology).
I am also able to offer A level Biology tutoring. I have been tutoring for a year and this has been all online. I thoroughly enjoy the interactions I have with my tutees and love instilling the passion I have for Science onto my students.
I have been a qualified teacher for a few years now and have been recently awarded the National Pearson Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Teacher of the Year 2022. Tutoring for me is tailored around the students' needs and their unique learning preferences.
I focus on knowledge recall and retention in order to master exam questions. I aim to pitch the content at a level that is relatable to the student as well as ticking all the boxes the examination specifications require. I use a graphic pad to write over the top of PowerPoints/exam questions just like I would in my classroom.
This has proven very useful to past students as it models how the exam boards want students to execute questions in their exams. A little about me, other than my teaching experience, is that I am a bubbly individual who is keen to know who you are as a person as well as a student.
Outside the classroom I am a keen footballer and have played since I was 10! I am also a cat mum to my 7 year old ginger cat called Rosie - she is the best!
