I am a passionate and committed Mathematics teacher with a strong academic background in the subject. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a B.Ed., and I have experience teaching students of different age groups both in classrooms and online. My goal is to make mathematics clear, interesting, and accessible for all learners. I focus on building strong foundational skills, developing logical thinking, and boosting student confidence through real-life examples, interactive activities, and digital tools. I believe in creating a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating. I continuously explore new teaching strategies to improve student understanding and performance in mathematics. I encourage engagement in my lessons and wish to provide a space where students feel comfortable to ask questions or say they are unsure. Through continual praise and encouragement, I am well suited to be able to help students that are anxious or cannot grasp areas of their subjects. I provide a plan of action for going forward and keep parents consulted on their child’s progress. I am also happy to set homework questions to build upon the skills covered in the lessons and will mark and give feedback on any work completed. I have had the opportunity to develop my online teaching at KS3, GCSE and A level with positive feedback from my students and their parents. I can use a variety of learning platforms through which to teach the lesson, making the most of technology to model any of the topics being studied. I can teach German up to A-level & IB and Spanish up to GCSE. I find it reаlly rewаrding tо see а student reаch their gоаls аnd tаke pride in inspiring аnd cоntributing tо their аchievements.
