My work was recognized with nominations for the Beyond Sport award, the Butler Trust award, and a finalist position for Prison Officer of the Year in 2015. I graduated from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology in Pakistan with a degree in Telecommunication Engineering. I then earned an MSc in Information and Communication Engineering from the University of Leicester in the U.K. I obtained my Ph.D. in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea, and the title of my dissertation was "Efficient Power Saving for 4G LTE and 5G Communications." I've been a research associate at Liverpool John Moores University since September 2024. From October 2009 to August 2024, I served as a faculty member at Bahria University Karachi Campus (BUKC) in Pakistan. There, I taught both undergraduate and postgraduate students subjects in Telecommunications and Signal Processing, including Communication Systems, Satellite Communication, Advanced Digital Communication, Computer Networks, Stochastic Processes, Signals and Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Probability and Statistics for Engineers, and Basic Electronics.

I am a fully-qualified, highly-experienced Chemistry teacher with over 27 years of teaching Chemistry in a leading London Private School. Prior to becoming a teacher I was working in Medical Research.
