I am currently going into my final year studying a Masters in Civil Engineering (with a year in industry) at the University of Sheffield. I previously studied at the Aga Khan Academy in Nairobi, Kenya where I completed the International Baccalaureate system in 2017 and IGCSE’s in 2015.
I have over a year of tutoring experience for IB, A level and IGCSE mathematics, physics, English, and Business Studies. It is not enough to simply understand the content of a subject, but rather its real-life application.
I will ensure to understand the students’ concerns, addressing their difficulty in a uniquely tailored lesson that contains understanding the concepts from basics, building on this using examples, and finally using this knowledge to answer exam-style questions.
Through interactive sessions, the student will be able to collaboratively work through questions making them confident in the area. Having walked through the footsteps of the student, I will and use my personal and tutoring experience aiming to make the student excel in their areas of difficulty through exciting, interactive and personalised lessons by utilising their strengths and developing their weaknesses.

I have been a maths and Computer Science teacher for a few years now in different secondary Schools. I keep up to date on all the recent changes in GCSE and A level maths & Computer Science Being forced to work at home during lockdown meant a change in my working practices.
I have had the opportunity to develop my online teaching at KS3, GCSE and A level with positive feedback from my students and their parents. I can use a variety of learning platforms through which to teach the lesson, making the most of technology to model any of the topics being studied.

I am graduate from the University of Warwick studying History of Art. I studied at ACS Hillingdon International School in the United Kingdom and completed the International Baccalaureate in 2017 and the MYP Programme from 2010 to 2015.
I have always enjoyed teaching and helping students gain confidence and develop the skillset necessary to perform well in Art, History and English. I believe it’s very important to understand how people approach learning.
Everyone learns differently. I like to understand a student’s strengths and find the best way to adapt teaching/learning. I use a holistic approach. In each session, I will set a task for your son/daughter to go through before the lesson.
During the lesson, we shall explore the text/essay/comprehension together, develop coursework/exam techniques and learn how to perform better. With this approach, your son/daughter will gain the confidence and skills necessary to improve their performance.
As a tutor I like to provide feedback to the parents after each lesson and let them know what we have worked on, I try and form a personal relationship to ensure I can really help him/her.

I am an Arabic Native speaker and I’m currently a pre GCSE Arabic teacher at Arabic school in Birmingham. I also spent more than 200 hours tutoring online during the last year as a private teacher.
I’m a member of the Arabic Teachers’ Council in London & Southern England My passion for teaching started in 2016 as I was reading and writing Arabic stories for my young kids. Wanting to learn more, I studied with ZAD academy; Arabic grammar (nahw) and Islamic studies.
Furthermore, I studied Tajweed and Quraan (at Sharjah) in the United Arab Emirates. Given that I was great at teaching my own kids and enjoyed it very much, I turned towards gaining a professional qualification in teaching from Nottinghill College and Certificate to teach Arabic as a second language , now teach Arabic in school , deliver Arabic workshops and privately tutor , and I use my Experience at technology and my computer skills to make creative PowerPoint presentations.
This makes my delivery quite unique and interesting, as I truly make kids & adult enjoy learning Arabic. I use creative ways considering the four main skills of learning any new language, with modern topics and articles that are more interesting and convenient to learners.
Also, I gain a good experience in teaching adults Arabic as I can designed a curriculum according to the students’ needs. For GCSE I’m a member of Arabic Teachers’ Council in London & Southern England and I attended some session which enhanced my skills and abilities.
