Noor Qaiser-Politics, Italian and History
Highly Experienced Politics, Italian & History Teacher
I am an experienced, people-focused tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for working with others. I hold three A-levels in History, Spanish, and Politics, a BA (Hons) in Politics and International Relations from the University of York, and an MSc in Politics, International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies from the London School of Economics (LSE). Alongside my academic training, I bring extensive real-world experience.
I have extensive experience teaching Politics with variuos exam boards (Edexcel, AQA, WJCE, ORC, Cambridge etc) as well as examining. I currently work full time as a teacher / tutor delivering lessons from these specifications in London. I also volunteer as a caseworker for a homelessness charity, where I support around 30 individuals with complex needs. This role has strengthened my communication skills, patience, and ability to adapt my teaching and explanations to different learning styles and confidence levels.
I am also a board member of a Greek–Swiss grassroots NGO, where I contribute to strategy and fundraising. This work reflects my wider commitment to social impact, education, and empowerment. I speak four languages — English, Italian, Spanish, and Arabic — and I am able to tutor and teach in both English and Italian.
My multilingual background helps me connect easily with students from diverse backgrounds and explain concepts clearly and accessibly. Working with people is my specialty, but I am also highly academic and structured in my approach.
I aim to make learning engaging, supportive, and confidence-building, whether helping with subject understanding, essay skills, or exam preparation.
I value curiosity, clarity, and encouragement, and I tailor each session to the individual student’s needs and goals.
