I am a fully qualified primary school teacher (with QTS) and have over 10 years of experience. I have a huge passion for teaching and find it most rewarding to see children progress and excel under my guidance.

I am an 11+ specialist tutor, with ample experience in preparing students for the CEM, GL and CSSE examboards. I have a vast library of resources and mock exams to help train and support students for their upcoming grammar school entrance exams. I teach exam-specific techniques.

I have taught students across the primary phase in mainstream schools from the ages 4-12 years. I hаve а trаck recоrd оf success аnd delivering results thrоugh privаte tutоring аnd аt clаssrооm level. I hаve significаnt, lоng-term experience аt KS1 & KS2 levels.

In addition to focusing on a child’s academic progress, I always look for opportunities to boost their confidence and self-esteem – as these are crucial for a holistic development. I tailor my lessons to cater for each child’s individual needs. I have a gentle, friendly approach and get excellent results through building great relationships with my students. I always look for ways to help them make connections between the things they learn and for them to develop a love for learning.

I believe that every child is truly special and unique, and deserves an opportunity to reach their maximum potential. I have successfully tutored children with specific learning needs, as well as children that have English as an additional language. All my students have made excelled progress in their studies, therefore most of my students come from personal recommendations of happy parents 🙂
