Nicholas Horton – Geography, History & Politics

Fully qualified Geography, History & Politics teacher with QTS

BIO

I am a fully qualified humanities teacher with specialism in Geography. I have taught a wide range of subjects within my teaching roles since I left university, these include History and Politics and I am currently head of the humanities department in my school. I am also an examiner for GCSE Geography AQA specification.

I have a real passion for teaching and tutoring which enable students to get a much greater understanding of the subject. I understand Geography is not a subject everybody finds easy or engaging, however, given the right teaching styles students can gain a real sense of excitement with the subject.

My lessons are tailored to the individual student, as I am well aware that there is not a one size fits all approach to getting the best out of students. I have taught students with a wide range of abilities enabling all students to build confidence and progress within lessons.

I look forward to hearing from you soon, and to have the opportunity of helping your son or daughter fulfill their own potential.
